The divine vision for this Church internet ministry was given to Bro. Stephen Richie by God Almighty Jesus Christ Himself in 1995. "Living Hope In Jesus" was born eleven years later on September 21, 2006. May The LORD Jesus ever bless you in the knowledge of Himself. To those who are unsaved, may you find The Treasure that God placed you on this earth to find.....His Name is JESUS. To live out one's life and never find this Treasure is the saddest of lives. The choice to spend an eternity screaming in a furnace of eternal fire because of rejecting Jesus is a choice you don't want to make. Eternity is a long time to regret rejecting God's plan of salvation for you. He stands with His arms open wide for you. PLEASE don't turn Him away.
Jesus is coming back VERY soon and we don't have much farther to travel in this evil world. He will soon come back to take His saved children Home to be with Him for all of eternity. All of our tears and worries will be gone forever. Til then, we wish to encourage you in The LORD Jesus and in your walk with Him. Til then, we wish for ALL of us in His Church to stand strong in the doctrines that were delivered to us by the saints so many many many years ago.
We MUST live consecrated and holy and blameless lives before The LORD Jesus for He is returning for a spotless Bride just as The Word of God tells us. We CANNOT hold Jesus' hand with one hand and hold onto the world with the other hand. This is unacceptable to Him. Seeing it is HE that "calls the shots", we MUST obey and be conformed into the image of Christ.
We are in a time in history of mankind when the last days are upon us.....the antichrist is prepared and ready to take his place on God's prophetic stage, the one-world religious system and one-world government is applying it's finishing touches upon it's last days agenda, the Church is so lukewarm and compromising (in fact, many in The Church cannot be distinguished from the evil ungodly world!), and the prophetic signs are in place that Jesus spoke of signaling that the Rapture is right at the door. We as Christians MUST begin praying that prayer to our Father just as The LORD told us to do and make ourselves ready. PLEASE don't be left behind. We must ALL go before The LORD Jesus Christ in full and true repentance of all of our deeds and ask Him to save our eternal souls. It is ONLY because of His infinite mercy that He can and will forgive us and save our souls from the enemy of our souls......satan himself. Jesus will cause us to be born again by placing His Holy Spirit within us......by washing us clean from our sin by His blood......by changing us from within by His Holy Spirit within us to be in His likeness of righteousness. The things we used to love (SIN!) will become the very things we hate. We will run from sin. We will not want to be touched by it in any way. This is what The LORD Jesus does for and to a life!!! He takes us from the death of our flesh desires to the life of HIS desires for righteousness and righteous living. Those without Jesus are dead and do not realize it. To observe them milling about in socialization and sin is to observe the spiritually dead in this world laughing and playing in the spiritual cemetery of godlessness on earth while not realizing they are dead spiritually and headed straight to a devil's eternally-burning hell. They are truly dead and doomed. It is so very heart-breaking......yet it is in this very condition that Jesus finds ALL of us before we ask Him to save our souls. Beloved, if you are lost and undone without God and His Son Jesus, please believe, repent, and ask Jesus to save your soul right now. As a clock ticks, so is your own life ticking towards it's eternal destiny. There are only two choices.......Heaven or hell. YOU will be the one who will choose. If you reject Jesus and His salvation, God will be merely giving to you what YOU chose when you are cast into hell's eternally-burning flames for all of eternity. There will be only pain and screaming in hell for all of eternity. Try to grasp how long eternity is. Your mind will lose itself trying to grasp how long eternity is. Eternity has NO end. You ALONE will chose where you spend eternity. There will be no cheering sections cheering you on to continue in sin and blaspheme God Almighty and The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost. You will cry out to The LORD Jesus for all of eternity for God's mercy and will not receive one single moment of it. NOW is the time to receive God's mercy. PLEASE receive it today!!! Between now and that day, Israel's judgement for rejecting God and His Son determined by God Almighty is written of plainly in God's inerrant and infallible Word. There is no better way of blessing Israel than to share The Gospel of The LORD Jesus Christ with them. He is indeed The Messiah (Christ) that they have waited so long for. It was for this revelation that He was falsely charged with blasphemy by the Jews to die on that old rugged cross. The Jewish leaders that knew for a fact from the Roman soldiers' report that Jesus had indeed rose from the dead on the third day paid the soldiers money to keep quiet about The LORD Jesus' resurrection from the dead. These Jewish leaders then perpetuated a lie that the disciples of The LORD Jesus Christ had stolen His body from the tomb. This lie has been kept alive by all generations of Jewish teaching since the day of the resurrection of The LORD Jesus Christ. (ALL of this is recorded in God's inerrant and infallible Word.) Beloved, there is coming a day that The LORD Jesus Christ will turn all Jewish hearts to Him when He returns as Eternal King seated on His Throne by God in Jerusalem, God's eternal City...just as He states in His Word. FLEE any "church" that teaches that those committing suicide go to Heaven. NEVER FORGET that 1st John chapter 3 verse 15 says PLAINLY "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that NO MURDERER HATH ETERNAL LIFE ABIDING IN HIM." SUICIDE IS MURDER!!!! FLEE any "church" that endorses what the medical world calls "palliative care" for the terminally ill and those with infirmities or in comas if there are medicines and treatments available to help them and it is in your power to help them. (Read Terri Schiavo's story here.) She was literally starved to death as are so many whose feeding tubes are discontinued or never placed. Can you begin to even grasp what it would be like to be starved and yet not be able to ask for food or water? Starvation is also very, very, very painful. Can you even begin to grasp the degree of pain?
Also along these same lines, we are not to talk people into giving up their meds and medical treatments while allowing them to die in pain and suffering while we delude ourselves into thinking that we are showing them "mercy".
These things are usually done for convenience by weary (or greedy) family members while they pat themselves on the back and purposefully deceive themselves into thinking that they have done a kind deed in "mercifully" achieving the legal murders of their family member! With the legal murder of family members for the sake of greed and selfishness, their safety deposit boxes, possessions, bank accounts are easily stolen from while the family members are in the process of dying without medicine, nutrition, and water. They die silently if in comas. No one hears their screams. No one hears their cries of heartbreak as they come face to face with the true desires of such greedy and self-serving family members. They leave this world knowing...................... and The LORD Jesus also knows.
There are adult children doing this to parents.... doing this to parents that would have walked their last mile on this earth in order to give these adult children their very last breath! So many times, the very parents who fed them and clothed them joyfully from the time they entered the world are the very ones left to die without water, medicine, and nutrition. The very same parents who so sweetly and tenderly sang "Happy Birthday" to a child is silenced by the very same child (or children) they had sung to on the child's birthday each year. There are wives doing this to their husbands! There are husbands doing this to their wives! There are parents doing this to their own children! They (and others) go so far to define "quality of life" while GOD ALONE defines "quality of life". (It is worth noting that Adolph Hitler started out his murderous rampage doing the very same thing. He chose the infirmed and mentally retarded, etc. to legally murder! He, too, took it upon himself to define "quality of life"!) His true children need nothing else. The Bible CLEARLY tells us to be content with food and raiment. He will take care of us just as He so sweetly and tenderly cares for the little sparrows. Jesus said that we are worth more than many little sparrows! We came into this world with nothing of this world's goods and we will leave it the same way. When we leave it, however, we will leave with The Treasure we were sent here to find....JESUS....if we will but endure til the end. Jesus is fully able to make us spiritually strong enough to do exactly that through God's precious Holy Ghost dwelling within us as true Christians and true children of The Almighty God. He DELIGHTS in helping us as we call out to Him in spirit and truth.
