RECENT UPDATE ON STEPHEN'S HEALTH

The urologist called on 12/29/2009 to inform Stephen that his PSA level after his robotic prostatectomy surgery of November 9th, 2009, was 3.6.  The doctor said that this showed that there were still cancer tumor cells in Stephen's body.  The doctor recommended radiation right away.  A request by Stephen that a repeat PSA level be done several weeks later was rejected by the doctor.  Stephen had asked for this because PSA is slow to leave the body after a prostatectomy.  The doctor would not even return our call pertaining this.  His office nurse talked to us in a very wretched manner by phone for even asking for a repeat PSA level versus immediate radiation.  The doctor who had been wondrously and marvelously used by God to help Stephen had turned as an enemy towards us as a result of Stephen's decision. 

After speaking to a Christian doctor who works with nuclear medicine (and much prayer to Jesus), Stephen has decided to forego radiation for the time being due to the extreme potential destruction of bladder, bowels, anal sphyncter, etc., that can occur as a result of radiation in the area of where the prostate gland was....only to find out that the elevated PSA is still present.  His urologist's office called a few weeks ago to remind Stephen of his check-up appointment.  When we went to the appointment, however, Dr. Richard Pearson had a letter waiting for Stephen telling him that because Stephen is not pursuing radiation immediately, he will no longer be his doctor.  He will no longer give him any pain meds, etc., that he needs as a result of Dr. Pearson's surgery.  The wonderful news is that Stephen rarely has pain anymore!!!  Thank You ALONE, LORD Jesus!!!

On the way home from the doctor's office, Stephen and I both received messages on our cell phones from our beloved Pastor/Apostle Kimberly Dube in Zimbabwe, Africa.  Pastor/Apostle Kimberly Dube had NO idea what was going on in our lives on that day yet The LORD Jesus had prompted him to send us this verse from God's Word..."For God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)  We laughed and rejoiced like little children as we knew our Father had sent this to us from the hands of His faithful servant, Pastor/Apostle Kimberly Dube.  We now continue to look to Jesus with our requests for Stephen's total healing which is available ONLY through Jesus and His infinite mercy and compassion and loving-kindness.  Stephen is feeling great.  He is back to his usual activities and is as strong as he ever was....Thanks be ONLY to The LORD Jesus!!!  Stephen truly looks to Jesus from Whom comes his help.

The Bible teaches plainly that our times are in Jesus' hands.  He knows when He is going to bring us into this world and He knows when He is going to take us out of it.  Not a moment can be added to that time...nor a moment subtracted from it.

Satan can do nothing to destroy a true child of The LORD God Almighty Jesus Christ.  Jesus teaches plainly in His inerrant and infallible Word that the devil does not give life....nor can the devil take life.  None of us are leaving this world until Jesus' appointed time.  Period.  The devil has only his "toys" of persecution, illness, mental torture, threatenings, etc., etc., etc., to use in his efforts to destroy a true child of God.  The devil is not concerned about bodies, Beloved.  He is ONLY interested in destroying faith in The LORD Jesus Christ. A true child of God's faith fails not.  He or she, by God's grace and mercy, endures til the very end loving, believing, and trusting in The LORD God Almighty Jesus Christ.  Satan feeds on fear.  The Word tell us that the ONLY one we are to fear is God....The LORD God Almighty Jesus Christ.  Period.

Please pray for us during this continued trial by fire.  We hope that when God has tried us, we will come forth as gold as is spoken in Job 23:10. Please pray for Stephen's total healing.
