MANY SINCERE AND NON-COMPROMISING CHRISTIANS ARE BEING TORTURED AND KILLED. MANY OTHER SINCERE AND NON-COMPROMISING CHRISTIANS ARE BEING PERSECUTED AGAINST HERE IN THE U.S.A. AND AROUND THE WORLD WITH COMPROMISERS AVOIDING THEM AT ALL COSTS. MANY HAVE ENDURED (AND ARE ENDURING) EVEN THEIR OWN FAMILIES THROWING THEM AWAY BECAUSE OF THEIR TESTIMONY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
THE LORD JESUS' REMNANT PREACH A TRUE GOSPEL. THEY LIVE A TRUE LIFE. THEY PREACH HELL HOT AND WARN OTHERS TO AVOID THE ETERNALLY-BURNING FLAMES OF HELL. THEY PREACH TRUE REPENTANCE. MAY THE LORD JESUS CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN, EMBOLDEN, AND COMFORT HIS REMNANT WHO HAVE NOT FORSAKEN HIM FOR THIS LOST, EVIL, UNGODLY, AND HELL-BOUND WORLD. Yesterday was The LORD Jesus' Day. We visited a Southern Baptist Church in Memphis where we have visited before. The Pastor of the Church was in another state conducting services. A young man with the title of "Doctor" of theology filled in for the missing Pastor. What we heard yesterday was but one example of what is going on under the title of "Church" world-wide as many in this last-days Church willingly and willfully descend into the depths of hypocrisy, lukewarmness, and compromise with the ungodly lost world.
The young "Dr." read a couple of Scriptures from Hebrews and then the "program" began. We heard as he said that he was sure that if the Apostle Paul was alive now on earth that he would definitely be into watching sports. On cue, the audience laughed and laughed. He would later go from there to making a statement about God that was blasphemous in content......and the audience laughed and laughed. Material continued sprinkled into the sermon in order to make the audience laugh.....and they did. Strange indeed.....for we had gone to Church in order to learn more of God and had attended in order to worship God in a place called by His Name.
The sermon continued laced with laughing material for the audience and concluded with an invitation "to have a personal relationship with Jesus". There was no mention of true godly sorrow and repentance of sin necessary before salvation. Jesus was merely a "buddy" to "have a personal relationship" with. Who has ever heard such a thing in God's Holy Word???........yet this is typical of what MANY Churches are offering the lost. There is NO mention of the condemnation to hell that all of us are under until true repentance and salvation by The LORD Jesus occurs. We are merely invited to be "buds" with Jesus. This, Beloved, is false teaching and it is blasphemy!!!
Jesus is both God and man. He is King of kings and LORD of lords. He is God Almighty. He is Messiah. He is Judge. He is terrible in majesty and power. He is Creator of all things. He is The One Who is going to return for a spotless Church that is without wrinkle while leaving the rest of the world to endure a time of great tribulation as has never been before on this earth. He is The One Who is going to burn up this old world with fire at the end of all things. He is The ONE Who is going to fold up the heavens as a scroll. He is The One Who holds our breath in the palm of His hand. We live as long as He allows it. We die at the moment of His command. He has told us plainly in His inerrant and infallible Word that "The FEAR of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom". In a world that holds nothing of reverance, the fear of The LORD is a topic that is often erased from minds and hearts.....while still conveniently wanting His eternal salvation. Beloved, The LORD Jesus is NOT our buddy. He is NOT a "good ole boy". He is HOLY and RIGHTEOUS and He EXPECTS us to be as He is. He empowers true believers with The Holy Ghost in order that we CAN be as He is in holiness, truth, and righteousness.
In Romans chapter one, we read that God says that men have fashioned The Living God into the image of corruptible man. Indeed, the man-made image of God fashioned into corruptible man is rampant in what is calling itself the Church in these last days. Jesus addresses this last-days lukewarm, compromising Church in Revelation. It is named "Laodecea". He rebukes it and points out that it thinks of itself as rich and in need of nothing but that He sees it as wretched, poor, and blind. THAT is how HE sees it and how HE sees things is ALL that matters, Beloved!!!
Great numbers of converts is often what is sought by many Churches in these last days. More converts, more money. This is NOT what Jesus is about, Beloved. Jesus has spoken plainly that the road to eternal life in Him is straight and narrow and FEW there be that find it. Those who do find it are called personally by Him into His salvation. Our calling into His eternal salvation by The Holy Ghost is NOT a result of our own works, etc. It is the work of The Holy Ghost. It is necessary that we examine ourselves, as The Bible tells us to do, to see if we are truly in the faith. We must do this by examining and studying Scripture and praying fervently for The LORD Jesus Christ to reveal to us if we are truly His. If we are truly Jesus' eternally-saved children, there are signs also that will follow those that believe........just as Jesus told us in the last chapter of Mark. We will also be hated of men and women for the sake of Jesus. We will be persecuted. We will be erased from the lives and hearts of many as though we are dead. We will have tribulations in this world. We will be rejected by multitudes who sit in Church on The LORD's Day who are merely there for a "feel-good", secular humanistic, and "We are all going to Heaven with no true repentance and still sinning" type of message.
We were told as we listened yesterday to the "Dr." that Jesus has forgiven us from all sins and that we WILL continue to sin. Strange. Jesus told us in His Word that we are to "be perfect". While Apostle John, in 1st John, tells us that IF we sin, we have an Advocate with The Father to secure our forgiveness after true repentance, it was NEVER presented in The Word that we are to expect to continue in sin. A true believer in The LORD Jesus is in love with Him and desires not to sin. The thought of sinning and disappointing The LORD in such a manner is considered disastrous and is avoided at all costs. IF sin occurs, such a hard grieving and godly sorrow takes hold upon the true believer as he or she goes before God to beg forgiveness without even being able to look up at Him due to the shame.
The LORD Jesus told us plainly that The Holy Ghost is here to convict men and women of sin. If you or we are sitting under a sermon and true repentance is not being preached, The Holy Ghost is NOT speaking, Beloved!!! The God that created hell knows how long eternity is. He knows how hot those eternally-burning flames are, Beloved!!! He WANTS us to know what The LORD Jesus Christ came to earth to save us from!!! He WANTS us to see how depraved and wicked and hell-bound we are. He WANTS us to turn from sin to Him in TRUE repentance.
Beloved, there is NO salvation without true repentance!!!
We listened as this "Dr." spoke of a Jesus that we do not know. The time for prayer came and I could not help but wonder who was being prayed to....for The God of The Bible is not a buddy!!! If one knows not the TRUE Jesus, all prayers are to the false god created in their hearts and minds. The TRUE Jesus Christ does NOT offer salvation without true repentance!!! He does NOT entertain the saved NOR the lost with jokes to laugh at!!! He does NOT do these things, Beloved. Eternity in hell and continuance in sin are VERY serious subjects to Him and they had better be very serious subjects to us lest we perish while merely thinking we are saved while still very lost and on our ways to a devil's eternally-burning hell.
It is not a Preacher's presentation that we are to attend to in our listening of a sermon. Oraters are trained to raise their voices at certain times during a speech. They are taught gestures to use to tap into the emotions of the hearers. So it is with many who speak behind pulpits. Seminary teaches them how to deliver their sermons. Those who do NOT attend Seminary learn through reactions and lack of reactions from audiences how to present their sermons in order to obtain their desired effects. Music is also used (just as it is used in ungodly movies, etc.) to tap into emotions of the hearers. NONE of this is what we are to be affected by, Beloved. We are to listen to hear GOD's Words and God's Words are going to match 100% what is written in The Bible 100% of the time. ANYTHING less is heresy, Beloved!!! We are to be Holy-Ghost taught and The Holy Ghost teaches that which is in God's inerrant and infallible Word.
If you are attending a Church that teaches "a personal relationship" with Jesus without teaching about sin and the need for true repentance before salvation, GET OUT OF IT!!! Run from it!!! Do not partake in these false teachings lest you compromise The LORD Jesus' true gospel thus willingly deceiving yourself and willingly ending up in hell by your own choice.

After studying and praying on this matter, if you should realize that you have not truly repented for all sins while seeking The LORD Jesus' eternal salvation, please do so as soon as possible.
